Mock-up Creation: Nile Watson
As Rumi Digital Solutions begins to expand as a web development company, the brand needed to stamp its intentions with a logo redesign to match the standards of its exceptional quality of the work it has been producing.
Rumi wanted to get it right, as their first introduction to its consumers in a crowded market and invite them to learn more about the company. With the colour palette being black, orange and purple they wanted a stand out with redesigned logo, brand values in icon format, team photos and illustrations for their services packages.
Logo Exploration
I started to explore a few selected directions that had potential and make a few adjustments to see what the logo would look in other environments.
Selected Options
Based on our options, I decided to set the desired direction in squared cards. This exploration had much potential and displayed the brand of how the system works.
Wordmark Preference
I started to work on the wordmark, I selected two typefaces that would match the logo structure and represents; evolving and expanding while being recognizable, and unconventional.
Design Elements
Here are the set of elements that I used in creating this brand to understand more of Rumi's design language.
Brand Illustrations
As for the brand illustrations, I started by identifying the visual language of its user experience. I based my concepts on popular flat app icons. The icons were influenced by the clients packages choice. I chose a limited colour palette. sticking to the orange and purple brief, that helped to determine the style but also kept continuity.
Design Applications
I prepared some mockups to see where the logo will be used and provided the correct assets for materials and contexts.
